As a comparison, the average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2019 was $48,639, an increase in average teacher salaries from the previous year of $1,921 or a percentage increase of 4%. Comments (-1) FUSD High Schools Announce Graduation Procession Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) high schools, Coconino High School, Flagstaff High School, and Summit High School, will hold graduation processions on Fourth Street in Flagstaff, Arizona on Friday, May 29, 2020. The event will include an opportunity for graduates to be recognized while still ensuring necessary social distancing measures. Comments (-1) Calendar Changes Approved for Remainder of Current Academic Year The Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) Governing Board approved changes to the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year calendar. The last day for students is now scheduled on Friday, May 22, 2020. The revised schedule shifts the three (3) remaining optional make-up days, originally scheduled for May 6, 7, and 8, to the end of the school year. Comments (-1) CocoNuts Honored with 2020 Regional Chairman's Award; First Dean's List On April 29, 2020 at a virtual award show put on by FIRST, the CocoNuts FIRST Robotics Team of Coconino High School earned their 9th Regional Chairman’s Award. Two sophomore members of the CocoNuts were also honored. Noah Temprendola was named a Finalist for the FIRST Dean’s List, and Oscar Landa Samano, a semifinalist.
